Hidden gem! The sandwiches here are AMAZING! Delicious sandwich options, super friendly staff, HUGE portions of meat. If I lived closer, I'd be here all the time! Don't miss out if you have the chance to eat here!

I relocated from South Jersey and I tell you this food is made with love and it's in the family that makes up the peaceful environment. Loved the Ma Barker.....taste like Jersey.

I enjoyed the old fashioned double cheeseburger, if the bun had been toasted and butter it would have been the best burger in Ocala FL. The magic is in the bread. I paid under ten bucks ( FYI, they charge more for credit cards ) Still the best deal around. Side note they have the best homemade potato salad ever .

I stopped by Southside Deli for my first visit today, the line inside was from the register to the door and there was 3 people behind me waiting in line outside to get it. The staff was very friendly, prices are very reasonable, the time it took to get my food in hand from the time I ordered at the counter was very quick and the food was amazing, everything on the sandwich was extremely fresh and full of flavor. This is a great little deli, if your a sandwich, soup or salad person you must stop by this place.

Great local spot for a good sandwich and friendly atmosphere. They offer selections for breakfast and lunch. You can eat there or to go. Be aware that there is an added charge for using your credit card.

Absolute Gem! I’ve passed this place so many times and finally stopped in today just before close (which I hate doing) Despite being maybe the last customer of the day I was treated with friendly & quick service. Let me tell you, the club sandwich is the best I have ever had. We will be here all the time.

I was in the mood for pastrami on rye the other day and Southside deli was closed. I went to McAllister's deli and it was absolutely disgusting. To get myself back right again I tried stopping by Dave's NY deli the following day. While it was better than McAllister's, it didn't get me to where I felt I was back right again. Finally, today, Southside deli is open, so I stopped in there and ate another pastrami on rye and I am back to normal once again. You know, when someone destroys your pallet the way McAllister's did, it can take something quite good to get you back on track. There is no place to get a better deli sandwich than at the Southside deli in Ocala. Attached is not an ad photo, it was my actual sandwich...

One of the greatest sandwich shops in Ocala. If you haven't been yet. I highly recommend The pastrami sandwich is my favorite but so many other great selections to choose from..
